Once you’ve submitted a request, you can expect a reply within the day (potentially hour). In that reply, I will provide an estimate for your custom portrait, instructions for making payment, and details needed to complete your portrait. Portraits are booked on a first come, first serve basis, so if you are hoping to get in early, please make your payment as quickly as possible!

To keep it fair and avoid delays, commissions are booked by receipt of payment, not by time of estimate request. However, emails are sent in order of estimate requests with payment details, so it still helps to put in a request sooner than later. Since there is a fixed amount of commission spots, and based on the popularity of previous rounds, these spots usually fill pretty quickly so if you are looking for a quick turnaround, keep your eyes peeled for your email response and pay quickly.

The final deliverable is a high resolution PNG file (JPG also can be requested) ready for printing and sharing online.

Yes, commissions are booked by time of payment (details on doing this included in estimate response email), meaning the full estimate amount is required prior to booking.

Refunds are not allowed after the illustration has been made due to the unique nature of creating custom portraits. However, if you reach out before I start the commission, I can refund the order as needed.

Yes! One revision round is included in the estimate for small tweaks - adjusting colors, lines, details, etc. Additional revisions or revisions out of scope will be given an estimate to approve before proceeding.

That means you can use it as your phone background, share it on personal social accounts, and print/display it in your home however you see fit - which is honestly only what most folks need!

Use of illustrations for marketing/use of any kind by a business is strictly prohibited. This includes posting graphics on a social media account that is involved in business, using it as a logo, and much more. If you’d like to purchase commercial usage, just ask in the notes!

Honestly, any! I’ve done everything from birds, horses, rodents, fish, and amphibians to unicorns, dinosaurs, and mermaids. The bulk of examples here are cats and dogs, but always open to include animal companions of any kind!

I personally do not offer illustration of licensed IP to stay on the safe side! No pokemon, logos, or licensed characters. We can however do more subtle elements like trainer clothing, character color schemes, and much more!

You can! Almost always I can accommodate if you’d like to add a quantity or detail not included in the form. Just put it in the notes and I’ll see if it’s possible!
